New concept of electrodes made by electrospinning method with nanofibers or nano-rice morphology have high specific surface areas (50 - 60 square meters per gram), unique pore distribution, tailorable crystallinity (amorphous/single crystal), and improved charge transport properties. Photovoltaic devices, lithium-ion batteries and super capacitors with this kind of morphology highly improved their efficiency, high current-rate capacity and capacitance. Nanofibers made by electrospinning can reach a diameter control between 20-150 nm, lengths of > 1cm, surface area > 100 square meters per gram with a reasonable cost.
